Your cards are the key to controlling the flow of the battle

Every game is unique, thanks to the endless combinations of tactical card plays and the free-flowing 3D movement system. With so much variety, no match will ever be exactly the same.

Positional Awareness

Mastering your position is key to executing precise attacks and defenses! Adjust your sword’s orientation and placement or adopt a guarded stance. Each move demands the right positioning for success!

Fancy Footwork

Move your figure around the arena using footwork adjustment cards. Get yourself out of reach, or get within reach of your opponent to execute the perfect attack or defense! While there are rules about how to move, this is not a grid-based combat! You can move your figure freely around the arena!

Gain the Edge

Through card play, you’ll be able to gain Edge, a resource that you can spend to influence dice rolls and control the flow of battle!

Battle!

When an attack is triggered, it’s time to battle! Compare the attack requirements, determine if your opponent is within reach, determine their defense value and roll off to see who is victorious!

Edge Quest takes customization to the next level with fully articulating, 3D-printed action figures that players can modify to reflect their preferences. The Core Box includes two fully assembled

There are multiple victory conditions to choose from that result in varied game lengths. Games can range from quick 15-minute skirmishes to epic, hours-long duels, depending on the chosen victory condition.

Yes!

The Core Box contains all the needed components for a 2-player game. Edge Quest’s game mechanic, however, is designed to accommodate games with more than two players. With two Core Boxes, for example, you can play 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 1v3, or a free-for-all up to 4 players.

It's a little of both!

Edge Quest is a quasi-turn-based mechanic, but with realistic combat feel due to the dynamic and fluid COMBAT Process.
