When is Edge Quest going to ship?

We're currently estimating delivery in January 2026.

That said, we’re doing everything we can to beat that timeline and will keep everyone updated as we move through production.

Can I change my shipping address from the Kickstarter?

Yes. Please us our Pledge Manager.

What's the plan for a retail release of Edge Quest?

We really appreciate your interest in the future of our project, and we are definitely exploring the possibility of bringing Edge Quest to retail. However, as this is our first game, we are primarily focused on fulfilling Kickstarter obligations and ensuring a successful campaign for our backers. Any chance that you could send out an advance copy?

It depends. Contact us to find out if we can do that for you.

At the moment, we're reviewing opportunities to send out advance copies under certain circumstances (review, playtesting, etc.) and considering how best to handle early access requests. Please use the form on the contact us page and we will reach out if we're able to make something work.

Are there any plans for more weapons / Fighting Styles?

Yes! Absolutely!

We definitely have plans to expand both the available weapons and fighting styles in future releases. You’ll be happy to know that both two-handed swords (like the Zweihänder) and two-weapon fighting (like rapier and dagger) are already in development! The mechanics we’ve designed for Edge Quest work perfectly for many fighting styles, and we’re actively refining how they’ll play. We're excited to keep building on the Edge Quest system and give players even more ways to customize their fighting experience!

Can I play with more than two players?

Oh, yes you can!

From day one, Edge Quest was built with multiplayer combat in mind, and the four-player expansion unleashes that potential.

With four players in the mix, every duel becomes a tactical battlefield—alliances form and break, positioning matters more than ever, and every strike has bigger consequences. Whether you go for all-out free-for-all chaos or strategic team battles, this expansion ramps up the intensity while keeping the fast, skill-based action you love.

Will there be different game boards / arenas?

Maybe in the future.

We do not currently have an option for additional game boards. However, different game boards is one of things we're considering for future expansions based on community feedback and the overall success of the campaign.

Have you considered adding a board with height variation?

No, but we're interested in the idea.

We haven’t specifically tested elevation changes yet, but our core mechanic is flexible enough that we think it could work well. The idea of dynamic terrain—like fighting on stairs à la The Adventures of Robin Hood—is really exciting and could add some great tactical depth. We’ll definitely have to explore that further.
